Over 150 participants joined the Hijrah Walk 3.0 in conjunction with Hijrah New Year 1447 at Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque, Kampung Sengkurong, 13th July morning. The activity was jointly organised by the Mosque Takmir Committee and Syababul Iman Youth Group. Such event is hoped to provide understanding of the meaning of hijrah into daily life through physical activities and tarbiyyah.

Among the participants was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Salleh Bostaman bin Haji Zainal Abidin, Member of the Legislative Council. The 3-kilometre walkathon activity around the mosque area was hoped to enlivened hijrah celebration among the community specifically the young generation through a healthy and relax approach based on the Islamic values.
