​The noble values of Islam that are practised increase the faith of a new convert to remain steadfast in deepening the holy teachings. We bring you a new convert's migration after embracing Islam.

2015 was a meaningful year for Awang Haji Muhammad Ashim Amrullah bin Abdul Rahman Menchok from Kampong Sumbiling Baru, Temburong District as he recited the Islamic Oath along with his family. His migration as a Muslim began with the encouragement of his son who wanted to learn to read the Al-Qur'an. Through the guidance of the Islamic Da'wah Centre, he was able to complete 30 juzuk of the Al-Qur'an and memorise several Surah.

His life became more meaningful as he was selected to perform the Haj in 2025 through the grant of a special fare for new converts.

Despite various challenges, the noble values of Islam has guided him to always be grateful and content with Allah's divine decree.
