To expand the network of cooperation between mosques locally and abroad, especially in the Borneo region, the Department of Mosque Affairs through the Imarah Division organised the “Talian Kasih: Masjid-Masjid Seborneo" programme. It involved the participation of Takmir Committee Members and mosque officers from Brunei Darussalam, Sabah and Sarawak. It was implemented bi-monthly through online video conference.
This time, the programme was held at Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque, Kampung Manggis, Madang. Present was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Lawi bin Haji Lamat, a Member of the Legislative Council. Also present was Awang Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri, Acting Director of Mosque Affairs. Among the programme's objectives is to foster strong relations to mutually benefit from cooperation between mosques and pave the way for future efforts and projects, apart from being able to establish a Network Cooperation in promoting Islamic Tourism with Borneo states.
