Kampung Pekan Kuala Belait Consultative Council in collaboration with the Belait District Office organised the KB Night Run in conjunction with His Majesty's 79th Birthday Celebration. The event held at the vicinity of Dewan Persidangan Kuala Belait, 6th September night.

The event was flagged off by Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, Acting Belait District Officer. Over 200 participants took part in the 3-category events namely 6-kilometre open and veteran's categories, and the 3-kilometre fun run.
