As a national da'wah institution, the Islamic Da'wah Centre, PDI, continues to move da'wah activities conventionally. The Minister of Religious Affairs added that technological advancements have given new life to the da'wah approach. This includes through significant printed publications, including pioneering the publication of the handwritten Mushaf Al-Qur'an and actively working on the publication of a 30-juzu' Mushaf Tafsir. Speaking at the Opening Ceremony of the Da'wah Seminar and Exhibition throughout 40 Years of PDI, Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin Bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, also explained that PDI is collaborating with RTB to produce da'wah programmes for radio and television broadcasts.
Yang Berhormat said that PDI is also working to develop its digital channels, in addition to strengthening da'wah programmes to welcome new converts and spread Islamic teachings to non-Muslims.
The ceremony continued with the Opening of the Da'wah Seminar and Interactive Session. The seminar aimed to achieve several main objectives, including increasing the public's understanding on the importance of the da'wah movement, apart from exploring more effective methods that can be adapted in da'wah development. Also held was the opening of an Exhibition and Launching of the 'Sinar Da'wah 40 Tahun di Negara Zikir' book. The ceremony took place at Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
