The Royal Brunei Armed Forces' participation in the Augmentation Interim Observers Team, IOT, is a significant symbol of the country's contribution to regional peace and stability and steadfast commitment to the peace and humanitarian mission. A Doa Selamat ceremony for the departure of the RBAF representative for the Augmentation IOT was held at Surau Ad-Difa', Bolkiah Garison, 15th September afternoon.

Present was Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the RBAF. The ceremony included the Sunat Hajat and Fardhu 'Asr prayers as well as serta Tazkirah titled 'Kerjasama Dalam Mencapai Keamanan'. The ceremony ran concurrently with the presentation of souvenirs to the AIOT officer, Major Udara Pengiran Abdul Azim bin Pengiran Idris who is scheduled to depart for Siam Reap, Cambodia.
