His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah emphasises the need to strengthen safety vigilance, drive sustainable organisational improvements, and maintain focus in the months ahead. His Majesty also underscores the the importance of upholding the highest standards of safety and asset oversight, ensure disciplined execution, and adopt forward-looking plans to safeguard and strengthen the long-term resilience of the Companies. His Majesty made the titah when chairing the 227th Board of Directors Meeting of Brunei LNG Sendirian Berhad, BLNG, and the 113th Board of Meeting of Brunei Gas Carriers Sendirian Berhad, BGC for the Third Quarter of 2025. It was held on 1st October morning, at the Prime Minister's Office. Upon arrival, His Majesty was welcomed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy, and Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Deputy Minister for Energy at the Prime Minister's Office, in their capacity as members of the BLNG and BGC Board of Directors. The meeting began with the reading of Doa. The meeting discussed key areas such as safety, operational performance, financials, and manpower development, as well as long term strategies for both BLNG and BGC.
Also present were stakeholders including Shareholder Directors representing His Majesty's Government; Shell plc; Mitsubishi Corporation; and members of the respective Management from BLNG and BGC. His Majesty will also chair the 416th Meeting of the Board of Directors of Brunei Shell Petroleum Sendirian Berhad, BSP and the 194th Meeting of the Board of Directors of Brunei Shell Marketing Sendirian Berhad, BSM for the Third Quarter of 2025, 2nd of October.
