Citizens and residents from all walks of life in Tutong District expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to welcome His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, at the Get-Together Ceremony with Citizens and Residents in the district. As the third district to welcome His Majesty for such an event this year, Tutong District presented the theme 'Raja Bijaksana Sumber Inspirasi Rakyat' or Wise Monarch, A Source of Inspiration for the Citizens. Held in conjunction with His Majesty's 79th Birthday Celebration, the ceremony took place at the Civic Centre Complex Field, Tutong District.

The event was enlivened with the waving of miniature flags by students.

Upon arrival, His Majesty was greeted by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs as Chairman of the Royal Birthday Celebration's National Committee.

Also in attendance were His Majesty's sons and brother:

- His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office;

- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik;

- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen;

- And His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah.

The theme 'Raja Bijaksana Asas Kemajuan Negara' was showcased in the special performance. Joined by over 370 participants, the performance combined the concept of the nation's culture and heritage.

The participants' involvement and unity were clear evidence of the people's steadfast loyalty as well as support for the Monarch.
