Over 1,200 participants took part in the Brunei Run event in conjunction with World Heart Day 2025. Hosted by Gleneagles Jerudong Park Medical Centre, JPMC it was held at the Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas, Bandar Seri Begawan.

The event was flagged-off by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy as Chairman of Gleneagles JPMC. Also present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. The run was divided into 10 kilometre run for Male and Female, the 5 kilometre Fun Run, and 2.5 kilometre Fun Run. This year's World Heart Day theme, “Don't Miss a Beat," emphasises the importance of individual responsibility, collective community efforts, and timely preventive action to maintain cardiovascular health.
