Towards preserving the well-being of the school community and addressing social and mental health issues, a Basic Guidance and Counselling Course was held. It was participated by thirteen Arabic School teachers and seven Religious School teachers participated.
The course conducted by the Counselling Services Unit, Administration Division, Department of Islamic Studies in collaboration with invited facilitators from the Islamic Da'wah Centre, ended with a Certificate Presentation. It was held at the Royal Brunei Aviation Golf Club Hall, 11th October morning.
Certificates were presented by Dayang Hajah Mariana binti Haji Jamil, Acting Director of Islamic Studies. The course is also aimed at empowering the ability of teachers in providing guidance and counselling to students, thus supporting the efforts of the Department of Islamic Studies in producing a generation of students who are balanced in terms of knowledge, personality and spirituality.
