His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, received in audience His Excellency General Romeo Saturnino Brawner Jr., Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of the Philippines enjoy close and long-standing bilateral relations. The Audience ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman, 15th October afternoon.

His Majesty received in audience the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Accompanying His Excellency was Her Excellency Marian Jocelyn R. Tirol-Ignacio, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines.
