Muslims are reminded that one of the main reasons people feel stressed today is because their hearts increasingly distant away from the remembrance of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala and they lack internalising the teachings of the religion. The reminder was made during the Friday Sermon titled 'The Secret of Peace of Mind'.
To achieve an atmosphere of peace, prosperity, harmony and peace of mind, Islam has effective guide to healing mental and emotional distress. First, increase in zikirullah - by remembrance of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. Second, by carrying out all of His commands and refraining from what He has forbidden. Third, purify the soul by avoiding sins and immoral acts.
