His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam attended a Gala Dinner, 27th October night, in honour of the Heads of State and Government of ASEAN, Leaders of Dialogue Partners, Guests of the Chair, and the Secretary General of the United Nations attending the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits. The dinner was hosted by Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia and Chairman of ASEAN, and spouse, Dato' Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail. Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen.

Upon arrival at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, His Majesty was welcomed by the Prime Minister of Malaysia and spouse. The event also featured a number of cultural performances.
