The One Young World Summit that was held recently in Munich, Federal Republic of Germany aimed to empower young leaders from around the world to develop practical and sustainable solutions to address global and community-level issues. Representing Brunei Darussalam to the event was a Brunei medical student at the University of Glasgow and President of the Brunei Medical Students' Association (BMSA). Awangku Mohammad Nukman Syawqi bin Pengiran Mohammad Salimin, recipient of the Embassy of Change scholarship from One Young World, reflects on his experience attending the summit, and how it relates to his personal contributions and the country's ongoing efforts in achieving a knowledgeable, healthy, and dynamic nation in line with Wawasan Negara 2035.

Throughout the summit, delegates participated in a series of plenary sessions, workshops, and networking engagements featuring distinguished speakers, including world leaders, humanitarian advocates, and industry pioneers.
