Brunei Darussalam's historical and cultural landmarks are among the attractions for tourists visiting the country.

The Tourism Development Department, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, in collaboration with local airlines and travel agencies, has organised two familiarisation trips for travel agents from Thailand and Vietnam. This was part of the ongoing efforts to see Brunei Darussalam continue to strengthen its position in the tourism market in Southeast Asia.

Representing industry players, the Vietnamese and Thai delegations visited several interesting places in the country such as the Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque, Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, the Royal Regalia Museum, Kampong Ayer, and Istana Nurul Iman. Such visits offered valuable experiences of the royal heritage, Islamic architecture and living traditions that continue to shape Brunei's national identity.
