The dedication of the meeting delegates towards the ASEAN Schools Games, ASG, can further strengthen the friendship and unity of school students in the ASEAN region. The matter was underscored during the 58th ASEAN Schools Sports Council Management Committee Meeting held at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas, 20th November morning.

Doctor Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education as Co-Chairman of the 14th ASG Working Committee also emphasised the expertise and leadership of the meeting delegates are the backbone of ASEAN's efforts to foster excellence, sportsmanship and unity among ASEAN youth. The meeting discussed the report on the Preparations for the 15th ASG by the host, Indonesia, and confirmed the Calendar of Events for the Host Determination for the ASG for 2026 until 2030.
