Five students received the Brunei Darussalam-Republic of Singapore Youth Education Scholarship to pursue secondary level studies in the Republic of Singapore which will commence in January 2026. The Agreement Signing and Scholarship Awarding Ceremony was held at Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Bandar Seri Begawan, 22nd November morning.

The signing was witnessed by Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md. Salleh, Minister of Education. Signing on behalf of His Majesty's government was Dayang Rosimah Sumaimah binti Haji Matassim, Acting Director of Scholarship Management while the Government of the Republic of Singapore was represented by His Excellency Laurence Bay Siow Hon, High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam. Also held was a certificate presentation to the recipients.
