Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore strive to further strengthen bilateral cooperation specifically in religious services between the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore, MUIS. This was among the matters discussed when the Minister of Religious Affairs received a courtesy call from the Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs and Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs, Republic of Singapore in Jerudong.

The Honourable Associate Professor Doctor Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim is in the country for a two-day visit. The courtesy call provided an avenue to exchange views on initiatives that benefit the Muslim Ummah's development, aside from expressing the spirit of friendship and collaboration between the two parties.
