The athletics event continued with the finals and medal presentation for the boys triple jump; boys and girls 200 metre run; girls 800 metre run and the 1 thousand 500 metre run for boys. It took place at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, Berakas.

The medals were presented by Awang Haji Norjemee bin Jenek, Director of SEAMEO VOCTECH Regional Centre. Thailand won the discus event for boys.

Winner of the boys triple jump was Malaysia, while the Philippines won the girls 200 metre run.

Winning the boys 200 metre run was Malaysia. The champion of the girls 800 metre run was the Philippines.
