Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Joint Committee on Economic and Technical Cooperation serves as a vital mechanism to deepen and broaden bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interests, supporting both countries' continued economic advancements and the well-being of their peoples. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah,  Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy stated this at the 2nd Meeting of the Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Joint Committee on Economic and Technical Cooperation.

During the Meeting, Brunei Darussalam and Saudi Arabia reflected upon the positive developments in bilateral economic relations, and thereafter agreed to twenty-five initiatives that will strengthen engagements across various sectors including trade and investment, transport, Haj and Umrah, sports, heritage, education, human resource development and media. The meeting was held in Bandar Seri Begawan.
