His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, in a titah states that the bilateral relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam continue to be strong, with both countries making significant progress in trade, energy and people-to-people exchanges since establishing the Comprehensive Partnership in 2019. With both countries reaping benefits through the Plan of Action of the Comprehensive Partnership, His Majesty in the titah said that he looked forward to enhancing the partnership in the coming year. His Majesty made the titah at the Bilateral Meeting with His Excellency Luong Cuong, President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in conjunction with His Majesty's State Visit.

His Majesty began the State Visit by attending a State Welcoming Ceremony held at the Presidential Palace, Ha Noi. Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen.

Upon arrival, His Majesty was welcomed by the President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.

The national anthems of both countries were played and His Majesty together with His Excellency inspected the Guard of Honour.

His Majesty was introduced to state dignitaries from the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam as well as Head of Representatives from ASEAN Member States in the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, while His Excellency was introduced to members of the Brunei Darussalam delegation.
