His Majesty then attended a bilateral meeting with the President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. During the meeting, His Majesty welcomed deeper collaboration in the oil and gas industry. Safeguarding mutual bilateral interests particularly in food security was also underscored, and His Majesty expressed interest to further enhance economic ties in the agri-food and aquaculture sectors. Furthermore, Viet Nam's interest in deepening linkages in the halal industry is welcomed.

His Majesty in the titah also expressed confidence that bilateral relations will continue to flourish through the agreements signed during the State Visit, and extended an invitation for His Excellency to make a State Visit to Brunei Darussalam.
