The Enforcement Unit, Tutong District Office issued a compound fine to a company for violating the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021, Chapter 30.

Syarikat Ahila Contractor in Kampung Sinaut, Tutong, is required to settle the compound fine within seven days from the date of the compound was issued. If in default, the company can be brought to court and if found guilty can be fined not less than BND2,000 and not more than BND10,000. For the second or subsequent offence can be fined not less than BND10,000 and not more than BND30,000, sentenced to imprisonment for a period not exceeding 12 months or both.
