An individual was fined BND500 for violating the Miscellaneous Offences Act, 2021. The individual is believed to have committed an offence under Section 12 bracket one 'D', namely dumping; spilling; or scattering any dust; sand; clay; compost; gravel; grass; thatch; sawdust; ash; garden waste; shed waste; business waste; fertilizer; garbage or any other goods and materials in any public place, whether from a moving vehicle or not or in any other way. The Belait District Office's Enforcement Unit reminds individuals and corporate bodies to comply with the country's regulations and laws in together maintaining cleanliness of the area and the environment by disposing of waste materials in the areas provided by the government.
