The 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand drew its curtain on 19th December night, with the closing ceremony at the Rajamangala National Stadium.
Brunei Darussalam participated in 9 sports event namely polo, taekwondo, aquatics, sepak takraw, karate, netball, wushu, pencak silat and weighlifting. Brunei Darussalam obtained 1 gold, 3 silver & 5 bronze medals. Host Thailand is in first place with 66 gold, followed by Viet Nam with 24 gold, and Indonesia with 20 gold medals.
