Volunteers and strategic partners of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah are urged to continue their contributions in the planning and implementation of projects and activities and further enhanced them in the future. The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports said the call during the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Volunteers Appreciation Ceremony. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad as Member of the Yayasan Board of Directors and Chairman of the Yayasan Aid Review Committee, said that the Board of Directors greatly appreciates the volunteers who tirelessly provide their energy, time and ideas to fulfill their responsibilities as noble individuals, devoted to the community and the country.

The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports also said that the existing volunteering platform can provide space for every level of society, at the group or individual level, to jointly contribute to creating a conducive environment for inclusive shared well-being.

The ceremony included the presentation of Appreciation Certificates to 160 active volunteers, presentation of the 2024/2025 Active Volunteers Appreciation Award and the Long-Serving Volunteer Appreciation Award. Also present was Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs as Member of the Yayasan Board of Directors; and Deputy Chairman of the Yayasan Aid Review Committee.
