Brunei Darussalam's contingent consisting of Chef de Mission, Assistant Chef de Mission, Secretariat Officer and part of the Polo team arrived in the country after participating in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) in Bangkok, Thailand.

Present at the Brunei International Airport to welcome the national contingent was Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. At the 33rd SEA Games, the contingent collected 1 gold medal, 3 silver medals and 5 bronze medals.
