The Consumer Price Index, CPI in November 2025 recorded a decrease of 0.1% compared to November 2024, mainly driven by a 0.2% decrease in the Non-Food index. While, the Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages index recorded an increase of 0.4%.
The decrease in the Non-Food index was mainly contributed by the decline in the prices of Miscellaneous Goods and Services, mainly insurance prices; Clothing and Footwear, as well as Recreation and Culture, mainly holiday package prices.
As for the Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages index, the increase was mainly contributed by an increase in the prices of Fruits, particularly fresh non-tropical fruits; Fish and Seafood, mainly fresh fish; as well as Coffee, Tea and Cocoa.
On a month-on-month basis, the CPI in November 2025 increased by 0.1% compared to October 2025. This was driven by an increase in the Non-Food index, while, the Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages index recorded a decrease.
The increase in the Non-Food index was mainly contributed by an increase in the prices of Clothing and Footwear, Transport and Recreation and Culture. Meanwhile, the decrease in the Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages index was driven by the prices of Vegetables, Meat and Coffee, Tea and Cocoa.
