​As part of the efforts to empower rural economy through micro and small enterprises and from preserving traditional food heritage as a community economy's asset, the Bangunan SAKU Committee in partnership with the Kampung Ukong Consultative Council Cooperative recently established the 'Ukong Mamagon' Cafe at Kampung Ukong, Tutong District. Its establishment is hoped to create job opportunity for locals, aside from providing a business space and marketing local food and beverage products.

The cafe encourages active involvement from local residents in the local economic process, from raw material production and food preparation until product marketing. Aside from traditional menu, the cafe also offered a variety of breakfast menu to attract local customers as well as visitor. Among the major focus was marketing ambulong product. Said efforts not only increase the local product's added-value, it also ensured the industrial heritage continues to be preserved as a sustainable economic resource.
