29 Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF, personnel who participated in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, UNIFIL, peacekeeping mission as part of the Malaysian Battalion, MALBATT, were feted in a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony to welcome the return of the contingent to the country. The event took place at Surau Ad-Difa', Bolkiah Garrison, 26th December morning.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. The contingent was led by Major Pengiran Muhammad Syahir Fadillah bin Pengiran Salleh. The contingent completed their one-year deployment and returned safely to Brunei Darussalam on 5th of December. The event also included a Tazkirah or short talk titled 'Taddabur Surah Al-Fath: Kemenangan yang hakiki'.
