More than 3,400 kilograms of waste, including general waste, recyclable materials and bulky items, were collected during the Cleaning Campaign organised by the Ministry of Defence. The campaign focused on several designated locations in the Belait District.

The campaign launch at Taman Jubli Perak, Kuala Belait was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. The campaign included a lecture titled "Menguatkuasakan Ukhuwah dalam Bergotong-Royong". The campaign brought together local residents; military personnel; government agencies; community leaders; private sector partners; educational institutions; youth groups and volunteer organisations. The event was organised with the aim of strengthening shared responsibility in maintaining a clean environment.
