The Land Department, Ministry of Development has announced that payment counters at every Land Office throughout the district will only be open for half a day on 31st of December.

The counters will be open from 8 to 11.30 in the morning. Meanwhile, the Service Counter will operate as usual, from 8 to 11 in the morning, and will resume from 1:45 to 3:45 in the afternoon. For any matters involving payment, it is advisable to carry it out in the morning. The Payment Counters will operate as usual on Saturday, 3rd of January 2026.
