​As of 1st January 2026, ​the Postal Services Department is corporatized to PosBru Sendirian Berhad or PosBru. All postal services under the purview of the Postal Services Department are now fully transferred to PosBru; a wholly owned subsidiary of Syarikat Darussalam Assets Sendirian Berhad, and will operate as a "Public Postal Licensee" under the purview of the Authority for Info-Communications Technology Industry, AITI.

In line with the corporatisation step, PosBru assures the public that the current Postal Service Rates (Letters and Parcels) will remain unchanged. All services and operations at existing PosBru branches will continue as usual. Existing services and daily dealings with the public will not be affected. And the revitalisation process of all PosBru branches, which includes rebranding and interior design improvements, will be implemented in stages to ensure that daily operations continue to run smoothly and guarantee an efficient transition without any major disruption to customers and tenants.
