The Mukim Serasa Consultative Council organised the Silaturahim Recreational Sports Event, the Mukim Serasa Beach Festival as a leisure activity during Public Holidays. It aimed to strengthen relations, instilling a love of outdoor activities and the environment, and fostering a spirit of cooperation among residents of Mukim Serasa. It took place at Muara Beach, 1st January morning.

The inauguration was officiated by Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhamad, Acting Brunei Muara District Officer. The event included a cleaning campaign and sports activities. Also held was the Opening of Annual Sports of Mukim Serasa which is hoped to be a catalyst for various more organised and beneficial sports activities.
