Kampung Tanah Jambu Mosque Takmir Committee held a Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony as a way of expressing gratitude after completing the recitation of 30 juzuk of Al-Qur'an. It aims to further enhance the appreciation of Al-Qur'an among the congregants and the village community.

The event included reading of lazim verses, Doa Khatam Al-Qur'an, Doa Selamat and 'Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam'. Also held was Dikir Marhaban by Khatam participants. Such event can be a catalyst in efforts to strengthen the role of mosques as centre of worship, knowledge and community unity.
