Human capital remains one of the nation's most valuable assets and that continuous investment in skills development is essential for long-term economic resilience and competitiveness. The matter was stated by the Deputy Permanent Secretary for Higher Education, Ministry of Education during the Annual Lifelong Learning Industry Engagement Day (ALLIED) Forum. The forum took place at a hotel in Anggerek Desa.

Dr. Chin Wei Keh in his speech also emphasised critical role of workforce training in developing a productive, adaptable and future-ready workforce. Over 100 participants comprising representatives from government agencies, private sector companies and training providers joined the forum. Industry sharing and interactive workshop sessions were also held.
