To pray to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala to grant His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam a speedy recovery, perfect and long-lasting health and well-being, the Ministry of Religious Affairs held the reading of Surah Yasin, Sunat Hajat Prayer and Special Doa before the Friday Prayer, followed by a Special Sermon. It was held at all mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide with a focus at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong. The ceremony was to jointly recite Surah Yasin, perform the Sunat Hajat Prayer and Special Doa and to pray for His Majesty's speedy recovery, perfect and long-lasting health and well-being.

Among those present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence; And Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy.
