The Reading of Surah Yassin, Sunat Hajat Prayer and Special Doa before the Friday Prayer and followed by a Special Khutbah were also held simultaneously at all mosques, surau and religious halls nationwide.

In Belait District, the ceremony was focused at the Mohammad Jamalul Alam Mosque, Kuala Belait.

The Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong Town was focal point for the ceremony in Tutong District.

For Temburong District, a similar ceremony was held at the Utama Mohammad Salleh Mosque in Bangar Town.
