30 new converts from Tutong District received certificates of participation after completing the four-day Da'wah Workshop with New Converts. The workshop was organised by the Islamic Da'wah Centre through the Tutong District Da'wah Branch. The Closing Ceremony took place at the Mendaram Besar Longhouse in Belait District, 15th January afternoon.

The certificates were presented by Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohammad Salleh bin Haji Othman, Member of the Legislative Council. The main objectives of the workshop among others to enhance understanding and confidence of the new converts towards the fundamentals of Islam while strengthening their role as ambassadors of Islam to non-Muslim family members.
