Universiti Teknologi Brunei, UTB, established in 1986, continues to strengthen its role as a technology-based higher education institution in the country. Starting out as Institut Teknologi Brunei, UTB has now grown into a university offering a variety of academic programmes in the fields of technology, engineering, business and science.

Over the four decades of its establishment, UTB has played a significant role in the national socio-economic development through the provision of high-quality education, relevant research and the development of skilled human capital.
