In conjunction with the celebration of its 40th anniversary, Universiti Teknologi Brunei, UTB through the Education Endowment Division has organised an initiative to open opportunities for the public in the country to endow the Mushaf UTB, which is a handwritten Al-Qur'an by local writers. Among the objectives of its implementation is to collect donations from endowment donors for the preparation and distribution of the UTB Mushaf Al-Qur'an to the proposed distribution categories in the country. The collection of donations for the UTB Mushaf Al-Qur'an is open until 18th January 2027. After the collection, the printing of UTB Mushaf will start and will be distributed once printing is completed.

The project provides a digital platform, namely e-waqaf, to facilitate the public to endow online, quickly and safely regardless of time and location. Information is also provided and e-waqaf currently only accepts online payments via debit card.
