Makan Fest 1.0, which is being held for the first time in the country, brings together a combination of local and Malaysian food entrepreneurs with the main objective of introducing a variety of menus, while supporting the development of local entrepreneurs. Held at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium area, the event runs until this Sunday, 25th January, from 11 in the morning to 12 midnight.

Over 130 entrepreneurs participate in the event which features a variety of food options and provides unique experiences to visitors. The response received is overwhelming. According to the organiser, one of the biggest challenges in organising Makan Fest 1.0 is the management of overseas vendors, especially in terms of logistics.
