The Ministry of Defence held the Isra' Mi'raj Celebration 1447 Hijrah at Kampung Belimbing Mosque, Subok, 23rd January early morning. The celebration was also held simultaneously at all surau within RBAF camps, including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque. The event included mass Subuh prayer and a lecture titled Prayer as the Foundation of Human Excellence.

Joining the event was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. Also held was the presentation of RBAF Infaq Fund Donation to 22 orphans from Kampung Belimbing and Kampung Subok as well as the handover of a waqaf or endowment in the form of a mortuary bathing unit from Kampung Belimbing Mosque, Subok to the RBAF, which will be kept at the Mortuary Room of Surau Al-Quwwah, Bangar Camp.
