The role of the Brunei Youth Council (MBB) as the main coordinating body for the youth movement in Brunei Darussalam is vital in advancing leadership, participation and development of Youth. The matter was among those discussed when the Minister of Religious Affairs received a Courtesy Call from the MBB delegation. The MBB's visit to Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman also opened up space for an exchange of views, thus strengthened cooperation on the development and empowerment of Islamic Youth in the country.

The MBB delegation was led by Nurul Izyan Anver, President of MBB. The courtesy call followed the official appointment of the MBB leadership for the 2026 to 2028 session which took effect on 1st of January in line with the decision of the MBB 8th Representative General Congress (KAP). The call took place at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 24th January afternoon.
