A clean environment can prevent disease as well as maintain the community's health and well-being. This was among the objectives of the Ministry of Health in organising the Cleaning Campaign at Kampung Rataie National Housing Scheme, Mukim Bokok, in Temburong District, 24th January morning.

This is the second round of the implementation of the district level cleaning campaign by the Ministry of Health, after it was officiated in Tutong District last November. The campaign was launched by Doctor Hajah Rafidah binti Haji Gharif, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health as the personal representative of the Minister of Health. Some one hundred kilogrammes of garbage was collected. Such a campaign is an ongoing initiative that aims to raise awareness among the village community on the importance of maintaining a clean environment.
