To commemorate the major Islamic event and express gratitude for the blessings of the religious facilities provided to the village residents and the surrounding area, 1st February early morning, As-Salaam Mosque held an Isra' and Mi'raj Talk Ceremony. The ceremony was held in conjunction with the mosque's first anniversary in Kampung Junjongan.

Present was Yang Berhormat Awang Zainol bin Haji Mohamed, Member of the Legislative Council. The talk titled " Hikmah serta Pengajaran Peristiwa Isra' dan Mi'raj" or The Wisdom and Teachings of the Isra' Mi'raj event, among others, emphasised the importance of maintaining in performing prayer and strengthening faith as the main lessons from the great event. Also held was a As-Salaam Market organised by the Kampong Junjongan Consultative Council together with the Mosque Takmir which was held in the mosque compound.
