Basic game strategies including failing to finish the goal and not blocking the cross as well as the roles of several players were among the issues touched upon by the Brunei DPMM FC Head Coach in a media conference, 31st January night, held right after the match against Melaka FC which ended in a 1-all draw.

However, James Reynolds McAllister insisted that DPMM FC will continue to build strategies and continue to develop and improve their movements in the game. The 1-all draw against Melaka FC provided a lesson for DPMM FC to continue to utilise the opportunity to win the next match.

Meanwhile, Elavarasan Elangowan, Melaka FC Head Coach had to accept the draw even though his team also had several opportunities to score goals to gain three points to improve the team's position at this point.
