WorldSkills Brunei National Competition 2026 lowered its curtain on 2nd February afternoon with a medal presentation ceremony. The awarding of gold, silver, and bronze medals for 16 skill areas was intended as recognition of excellence in technical skills, creativity, problem solving, and compliance with the international WorldSkills standards. Organised by the Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE with the support of the Ministry of Education, the ceremony was held at BRIDEX Hall, Jerudong.

The medals were presented by Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd. Salleh, Minister of Education. The competition was joined by youths from colleges and secondary schools, IBTE schools, higher education institutions, and training institutions nationwide. The winners of the competition will be considered to take part in advanced training and selection to represent the country at the WorldSkills ASEAN competition and at the international level.
