To glorify the celebration of the night of Nisfu Syaaban, the mass Fardhu Maghrib and Isyak Prayers, the reading of Surah Yasin and a Special Doa in conjunction with Nisfu Syaaban was held at Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque, Bandar Seri Begawan, 2nd February night.

Present was Awang Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.  The ceremony began with the mass Fardhu Maghrib prayer, followed by the Sunat Hajat prayer, seeking for His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's long-lasting health and well-being.  This was followed by the reading of surah yasin and special doa.
