The solar energy system and the core module "Green and Digital Literacy for  Sustainability" are one of the Politeknik Brunei's commitment to education; training; innovation and human resource development to achieve the "Wawasan Brunei 2035". The latest is the launch of Politeknik Brunei Solar Energy System at the Politeknik Brunei, Lumut Campus, Belait.

The launch was officiated by Doctor Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education.  The new core module will begin in July 2026. By supporting national and international policies on the importance of green education, the core module is hoped to provide basic knowledge on sustainability awareness, digital responsibility and ethical citizenship and subsequently contribute meaningfully to sustainable development in Brunei Darussalam.
